Basil's support role shines through! I think this is actually the first time he specifically aids another in a fight rather than taking on a target himself. Teleportation is OP when the opponent doesn't see it coming.
Melinda does make a valid point that I didn't think would become such a factor. Nobody is truly putting the big threat first. The team is destined to fail with the current mentality, and Audrey doesn't seem to be capable of pulling it together.
The Devourer is now somewhat aware direct resistance is being made against it by someone other than Serge. It surely knew that humans could post a threat against it, but this could possibly be the first instance that humans have made a move. Taking the humans out might be a slightly higher priority now!
"The idea of Floyd". I'm sure he'd have a field day with that one.
